I’m Dhivya, an illustrator and surface pattern designer based in Hyderabad, India.

I create illustrations for children’s books and designs for products. I enjoy drawing characters, nature and small everyday moments that can turn into stories.

I keep my style simple because I want children to look at my illustrations and think, “I can draw that too.” I use simple shapes, clear lines and expressive characters. I like leaving enough space for children to imagine what happens next and make the story their own.

My daughter and her imagination are a big part of what inspires me. I love observing how children turn the simplest things into stories and bring that sense of wonder into my work.

I also create surface patterns for children’s products, apparel and lifestyle. I enjoy creating artwork that can bring a little story into everyday things.

I’m always happy to work with people who have a story or idea they want to bring to life.
