Hello!

I’m Dhivya, a freelance illustrator and surface pattern designer based in Hyderabad, India.

I create illustrations that bring ideas to life through characters, colours, shapes and little details. My work spans character design, editorial illustration, visual storytelling, surface patterns, product artwork and brand collaborations.

My style is simple, playful and expressive. I enjoy working with clean shapes, lively characters and thoughtful details to create artwork that feels approachable, engaging and full of personality. I like finding interesting ways to interpret a brief and giving even the simplest ideas a little character of their own.

I enjoy being part of the creative process, from exploring initial concepts and developing ideas to creating finished illustrations and artwork ready for different applications.

My daughter, everyday observations, nature, travel and the little things around me often find their way into my work. I’m particularly drawn to the stories hidden in ordinary moments and the possibilities that come from looking at things a little differently.

I’m always excited to explore new creative directions and collaborate with publishers, brands, designers and businesses across different industries.

If you have an idea that needs a little imagination, I’d love to bring it to life
